The Fall Of Man series by Brennan McPherson

The beginning...Adam's story from creation, the exile and his final days. Biblically accurate with a story created around the facts. I loved this series.

From Amazon:

"You want me to tell of how I broke the world."

It's the year 641 since the beginning of the everything, and when Eve passes away, she leaves Adam the only man on earth who remembers everything since they walked in Eden.

When Enoch, God's newly appointed prophet, decides to collect the stories of the faithful from previous generations, he finds Adam in desperate need to confess the dark secrets he's held onto for too long.

Beside a slowly burning bonfire in the dead of night, Adam tells his story in searing detail. From the beginning of life, to how he broke the world, shattered Eve's heart, and watched his family crumble.

Will Enoch uncover what led so many of Adam's children away from God? And will Adam find the redemption and forgiveness he longs for?

Genesis continues with Noah's story. Raw and heart breaking.

From Amazon:

"A soul-searching, heart-rending, deeply satisfying story." - Mesu Andrews, Christy award-winning author of Isaiah's Daughter

See God's mercy unveiled in a pulse-pounding retelling of the story of the worldwide flood...

Nearly two thousand years after Adam and Eve eat death into existence, the flavor still echoes in their descendants' tongues. War is sweeping the world from the iron throne of a man who calls himself the God-King.

Caught in the crucible is a young family broken by loss and carried along by the prophecies spoken over the infant boy who fits in their hands.

Will little Noah grow to be the savior the world needs? Or will bending his bow come easier than bending his knee to the God who holds his destiny?

The book of Genesis continues with Babel, the story of a tower and man's rebellion.

from Amazon:

A sweeping, pulse-pounding retelling of the story of the Tower of Babel...

More than a century after the worldwide flood, Noah, now the forefather of the living world, works peacefully in his vineyard until tragedy tears apart his relationship with his son, Ham.

Years later, dark prophetic dreams inextricably link him with a young man carrying scars from a painful past, and a young woman who longs for acceptance yet harbor secrets darker than either of them imagine.

Will Noah face the role he played in the slow unraveling of his family? Or will everything collapse when they meet the evil attempting to swallow the world at. . . the Tower of Babel?

Read today to experience biblical fiction that helps you think biblically and feel deeply.

The rise of Abram and the beginning of his search for the promised land.

from Amazon:

A family saga of biblical proportions . . .

When Abram’s brother, Haran, is found dead in their father’s field, Sarai, Lot, and Abram’s fates become intertwined.

As their family’s desires clash, they must navigate increasingly dangerous circumstances.

From forced marriage, to fleeing the wrath of an angry city-state, and deceiving the pharaoh of Egypt, will they honor the Almighty and find the inheritance God promised? Or will they choose their own path and forge on into ruin?

Find out in this first book on the lives of Abram, Sarai, and Lot, based on Genesis 11:26 – Genesis 13:1.

I thought this series was well done and I look forward to future books by Brennan McPherson.

The quiet streets echo with her grandfather's sterling reputation, one that conflicts with fresh questions that claw at Janae, launching her on a reluctant journey to unearth his secrets. When her new job at a local law firm doesn't live up to expectations, she wonders if coming home was the right decision.

Carter Montgomery starts his art preservation career with the only job he can get--director at the Elliott Museum of Art. But Carter's calm days disappear when an elderly woman claims two paintings in the museum's collection were stolen from her family during World War II.

Carter enlists Janae's help to unravel the legal labyrinth of art ownership, and the peaceful facade of Kedgewick morphs into a hot bed of secrets. As the web of intrigue tightens, the duo must confront a looming question: What dark truths lie beneath the surface, waiting to be exposed?

Sacrificial Touch by Brian Hartman

Did you ever read a book so good that you struggle to find your next read? Yeah, that's where I'm at after reading Brian Hartman's Sacrificial Touch. I have tried a few books from my TBR pile but nothing is catching my attention, so I am re reading an old favorite.

Sacrificial Touch sticks with you long after you are done reading it, The premise of God giving you the one thing you want even though it comes with a catch is intriguing. I loved the characters in this book. Cameron and Addison were very realistic. The fact that Cameron's gift restored people's faith in God was fantastic. This book was my favorite book read in January and is most likely going to be high on my top ten list for 2025.

So grab a beverage, a snack and a blanket then turn off your phone and snuggle up for a great read.

All thoughts are my own.

From Amazon:

Life as an ER doctor is intense. A shift can turn from mundane to insane in a matter of moments depending on what walks in, or crawls in, the door. Dr. Cameron Turner was no stranger to death. It happened all the time in the ER, but usually not to the doctor. When an irate patient loses control, Cameron crumbles to the ground with a mortal wound.

While the team races to save their colleague from certain death,
Cameron opens his eyes and finds himself face-to-face with God. He is offered something he has sought his entire life. The ability to heal anyone of anything, but it comes with a catch that only he knows about. The gift is not unlimited, and its expiration date matches his own.

Cameron must choose when to use the gift, and faces unforeseen consequences when his choice angers those around him, including inside his own family. The world proves it is not prepared for undeniable acts of God which sends Cameron into hiding for his own safety. Robbed of his freedom and his family,
he plans an epic finale that will change the hearts of even those who persecuted him.

Reviewer's comments:
Your book kept me riveted, and I managed to squeeze in time to read it, and just finished a few minutes ago. I have read a lot of Christian fiction, and it can be pretty predictable at times. Your book was not! I really enjoyed it, and the message was excellent.
