Reading Playing Jesus leaves the reader content and comforted. I highly recommend the whole Seeing Jesus series of books. Seeking Persephone by Sarah Ladd

Seeking Persephone by Sarah Ladd brings a Beauty and The Beast vibe to a marriage of convenience tale. I loed the strong characters and the setting was fantastic. This is a fun book to curl up with on a long weekend with the added bonus that it is the first book of series. So brew up a pot of tea, add some scones to the tray and enjoy a good read. Even In This by Dianna Lanser

Even In This is a very good book. It is honestly not a book you enjoy per say but I did like it. Warning the subject matter can be triggering for some. I did enjoy the way the characters grew in faith Even In This, when the unimaginable happens. I appreciate the way Dianna Lanser depicted the characters having struggles but they always circle back to God and His will. She did an awesome job of handling a delicate and heartbreaking act with tact and grace. I look forward to reading more books by Ms. Lanser in the future. I borrowed this book through Kindle Unlimited. All thoughts are my own.

Desert's Edge: A Jack Cross Novel by Dante Lupinetti

I have been a fan of Dante Lupinetti's books for a while so I was excited to be given an ARC of Desert's Edge: A Jack Cross novel. This book is a quick read but very good. It takes place after an EMP attack. Jack Cross leads a ragtag group of people from Pheonix to a Mountain compound. I enjoyed the characters and their interactions. There is a decent amount of suspense and drama. All said and done this is a good read. So fix something good to drink and settle in for a good read! The Targeted (secrets To Keep, book 3) by Cara Putman

I loved The Targeted, book 3 in Cara Putman's Secrets To Keep trilogy. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters as they solved a case going back 14 years to when a group of gymnasts trained at a small gym. One girl is missing, one had a child, one is dead and many are left traumatized. Ms. Putman does a great job of keeping the suspense flowing. I highly recommend reading the series in order, starting with The Vanished, then The Accused and finally The Targeted, So I hope you grab a favorite beverage, find a quiet reading spot and enjoy a great series. I loved Christmas In The Castle Library so much that I was hesitant to read Love In The Castle Library as I was worried it wouldn't live up to the first book. I was wrong to worry! I love book two even more! Delphine and Jack are wonderful characters. I enjoyed reading their story. I loved the mystery, the suspense and the fact that their was a villian. Kent was a delightful surprise. I think the plot was well developed and I wanted to visit the setting in person. This is definitely a five star book. I have been reading rave reviews of Ann Swindell's Christmas In The Castle Library and I am pleased to say it exceeded my expectations. Ellie Sawyer is a fascinating lady who doubts her worth other than as a historical researcher. She jumps at the chance to spend Christmas researching the disappearance of a queen who ruled a hundred years ago. I really enjoyed the plot with it's strong message of faith. The setting of a castle in a small country was perfectly done with beautiful descriptions. Although this book is strong enough to stand alone I was pleased to hear that there will be two more books! Christmas At The Castle library was the perfect blend of mystery, romance and a journey of self discovery. I highly recommend this book! All thoughts are my own.

The Cinderella Plot by Pepper Basham

The Cinderella Plot is a lovely book by Pepper Basham. I loved how Paisley and Chris discover what really matters in life, faith, family and each others friendship. Iwas thrilled that Ms. Basham wove her typical Basham Banter through the book, with refernces to many books and movies. I worked in a public school for 10 years and believe that the author clearly captured the day to day lives of teenagers with all of the ups and downs that go along with growing up. This is a sweet story that I feel all young women struggling with self image and fitting in should read. Well done Ms. Basham!
