Loosed: Michal’s Story: A Biblical Fiction Novel of King David and Hidden Struggles of Faith (The Lambswool Chronicles Book 3) by Anna Moore Bradford

Loosed is the story of Michal, the youngest daughter of King Saul and the first wife of King David. It is the third story in the Lambswool Chronicles by Anna Moore Bradford, and although I haven't read the first two books I really enjoyed Loosed. I enjoyed the way Ms. Bradfield took the known facts of Michal's life as found in the Bible and then filled in a believable backstory. I found the book to be engaging and the charcters relatable. The setting was beautifully described. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Biblical fiction. I was given a copy of the book with no expectations. All thoughts are my own. From AmazonWhen control becomes your prison… can faith set you free? In this gripping continuation of The Lambswool Chronicles, step into the untold story of Michal—King Saul’s daughter and King David’s first wife—whose life of privilege becomes a desperate struggle for survival as Israel’s destiny hangs in the balance. Power. Pride. Surrender. Born into a palace of power, Michal quickly learns that love is conditional and trust is dangerous. In a world shaped by fear, politics, and madness, she hones manipulation into an art—her only means of control. But when her carefully crafted world begins to unravel, and the cost of her choices becomes too great to bear, Michal is forced to confront the one thing she cannot control: the will of God. As David’s kingdom rises, her story unfolds through betrayal, isolation, and regret. Torn between loyalty and truth, identity and survival, she must face who she has become… —and whether she can ever be free. Until the day she is finally loosed from the chains she forged herself. Perfect for readers who love: • Biblical fiction with strong, flawed female protagonists • Old Testament stories told with depth and fresh perspective • Christian fiction rich in spiritual struggle and redemption • Francine Rivers, Mesu Andrews, and Jill Eileen Smith With vivid storytelling and deep biblical insight, Loosed brings ancient Israel to life through: • Authentic historical and cultural detail • Emotionally rich, character-driven narrative • A powerful redemptive arc reflecting God’s relentless pursuit Inside this story, you’ll discover: • The hidden life of Michal—her ambition, heartbreak, and transformation • A journey from control to surrender, fear to faith • A reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace In a world where control feels like safety, true freedom can only be found… when you finally let go.
