Love In The Castle Library by Ann Swindell
I loved Christmas In The Castle Library so much that I was hesitant to read Love In The Castle Library as I was worried it wouldn't live up to the first book. I was wrong to worry! I love book two even more! Delphine and Jack are wonderful characters. I enjoyed reading their story. I loved the mystery, the suspense and the fact that their was a villian. Kent was a delightful surprise. I think the plot was well developed and I wanted to visit the setting in person. This is definitely a five star book. Looking forward to book three, Secrets In The Castle Library!
All thoughts are my own.
Predictability and efficiency have marked Delphine DuVert’s orderly life as Castle Stewardess in the small European country of Lethersby—until she is tasked by the monarchy to hire a British researcher. Lethersby needs help solving the 100-year-old mystery of their Lost Queen, a young royal who disappeared into the night during World War I.
Delphine’s split-second decision to hire Jack Worthington, a doctoral student at the University of Oxford, has long-lasting consequences when he steps in to protect her from an angry colleague determined to ruin her life. The only catch? That protection looks like Jack posing as her beau. Delphine hesitantly accepts Jack’s offer—and finds her heart being stripped of every predictable and efficient emotion she’s ever had.
Jack Worthington believes that his instinct to protect Delphine was the right one, even if it means posing as her boyfriend. But he’s determined to stay focused on his research for Lethersby—and to keep his emotional distance after reeling from a broken heart. Yet as the clues to discovering the Lost Queen’s story unravel and the court case determining Delphine’s fate looms, both Delphine and Jack must step out in faith, choosing to trust that what God has ahead for them is more valuable than the lives they thought they wanted.

Loosed: Michal’s Story: A Biblical Fiction Novel of King David and Hidden Struggles of Faith (The Lambswool Chronicles Book 3) by Anna Moore Bradford
Loosed is the story of Michal, the youngest daughter of King Saul and the first wife of King David. It is the third story in the Lambswool Chronicles by Anna Moore Bradford, and although I haven't read the first two books I really enjoyed Loosed. I enjoyed the way Ms. Bradfield took the known facts of Michal's life as found in the Bible and then filled in a believable backstory. I found the book to be engaging and the charcters relatable. The setting was beautifully described. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Biblical fiction.
I was given a copy of the book with no expectations. All thoughts are my own.
From AmazonWhen control becomes your prison… can faith set you free?
In this gripping continuation of The Lambswool Chronicles, step into the untold story of Michal—King Saul’s daughter and King David’s first wife—whose life of privilege becomes a desperate struggle for survival as Israel’s destiny hangs in the balance.
Power. Pride. Surrender.
Born into a palace of power, Michal quickly learns that love is conditional and trust is dangerous. In a world shaped by fear, politics, and madness, she hones manipulation into an art—her only means of control.
But when her carefully crafted world begins to unravel, and the cost of her choices becomes too great to bear, Michal is forced to confront the one thing she cannot control:
the will of God.
As David’s kingdom rises, her story unfolds through betrayal, isolation, and regret. Torn between loyalty and truth, identity and survival, she must face who she has become…
—and whether she can ever be free.
Until the day she is finally loosed from the chains she forged herself.
