I love all of Jody Hedlund's books and I believe her to be a gifted writer. However, Convincing The Cowgirl is among my least favorites of hers. Usually marriage of convenience books are one of the best tropes. Unfortunately Convincing the Cowgirl is a bit low on plot. Most of the book is focused on the physical attraction between Patience Courtney and Spencer Wolcott. This book had a promising beginning and I did enjoy the ending, I just wish there had been more substance to the story.
I will continue to read Ms. Hedlund's books as everyone can have an off book. As always I look forward to reading her next creation.
I was given a copy of this book with no expectations. All thoughts are my own.

*All of the books in the Colorado Cowgirls series are sweet, closed-door romances with plenty of sizzle. The inspirational themes are light, and the romance is the main focus of the books.
